Diplomatic Corps reaffirms ties with the Dominican Republic at luncheon with Abinader

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader attended a luncheon hosted in his honor by the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Dominican Republic, where ambassadors and representatives of foreign missions reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and international relations.

During the event, Apostolic Nuncio and dean of the Diplomatic Corps Piergiorgio Bertoldi stressed the importance of collaboration between the Dominican government and the international community to advance sustainable development, reduce poverty, and address the root causes of migration. Diplomats also underscored the value of maintaining open dialogue to promote joint initiatives in key strategic areas.

The gathering focused on bilateral cooperation and served as a diplomatic gesture reinforcing the Dominican Republic’s commitment to a foreign policy centered on dialogue, collaboration, and stronger bilateral and multilateral ties.
