Caribbean Cinemas reopens renovated theater complex at Ágora Mall

Santo Domingo.- Caribbean Cinemas has officially reopened its movie theater complex at Ágora Mall in Santo Domingo, unveiling six fully renovated theaters equipped with laser projection, reclining leather seats, immersive sound, the CXC giant-screen format, and the new Victor’s Kitchen & Bar concept.

The opening ceremony was led by Caribbean Cinemas President and CEO Robert Carrady, who said the investment reflects the company’s continued commitment to innovation and the Dominican Republic after 50 years of operations. Ágora General Manager Silvia Rosales said the reopening enhances the shopping center’s entertainment offering by providing a modern cinema experience for families and visitors.

The renovated complex also features self-service ticket kiosks, expanded concession areas and improved accessibility for people with disabilities. The reopening is part of Caribbean Cinemas’ broader modernization strategy across the region, where the company operates more than 600 screens in 18 territories.
