Dominican Republic participates in global civil aviation meetings in Morocco
Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.- The Dominican Republic participated in the Seventh Meeting of Regional Civil Aviation Organizations and the 29th General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) in Morocco, where international aviation leaders discussed key challenges facing the sector.
Representing the country, Héctor Porcella highlighted the need for stronger cooperation among regional organizations to address issues including aviation safety, environmental sustainability, technological innovation, human capital development and connectivity.
Porcella also reaffirmed the commitment of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission to expanding technical cooperation and promoting safer, more efficient and sustainable air transport. During the event, he held bilateral meetings with representatives of several aviation organizations to strengthen collaboration on strategic global aviation initiatives.
