Aircraft makes emergency landing in Haiti; no fatalities reported
A ZED Airlines aircraft with Dominican registration HI-1056 made an emergency landing Wednesday in the Lafito area of Haiti while operating a flight from Cap-Haïtien to Port-au-Prince, the airline confirmed.
The Cessna 402B was carrying a pilot and two passengers. The airline said there were no fatalities or injuries, and all three occupants received medical attention and assistance following the incident.
ZED Airlines said the cause of the emergency landing has not yet been determined. The company added that the relevant authorities and its technical team will conduct a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
