British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic announces the 27th British Golf Cup at Casa de Campo
SANTO DOMINGO. – The British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (BritChamDR) will host the 27th British Golf Cup on Saturday, August 8, 2026, one of the country’s most prestigious sporting and business tournaments.
The competition will take place at the renowned Dye Fore Golf Course at Casa de Campo in La Romana, internationally recognized for its challenging layout and breathtaking scenery. Each year, the event brings together executives, business leaders, diplomats, and golf enthusiasts for a day that combines competitive golf, networking, and the strengthening of business relationships.
As is tradition, the tournament will be played in a two-person Scramble format, with competitions in Categories A, B, and C. Awards will be presented to the top three net scores in each category, as well as the tournament’s Best Gross Score. Special prizes will also be awarded for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. The day will conclude with an awards ceremony, raffles, product tastings, and the presentation of a replica of the iconic Claret Jug to the player with the tournament’s best gross score.
