Flights between Dominican Republic and U.S. cities canceled due to severe weather

Santo Domingo.- Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) announced the cancellation of several flights at Las Américas International Airport (AILA) after severe rain and flash flooding disrupted air travel in parts of the United States.

According to Aerodom spokesperson Luis José López, JetBlue, Delta Air Lines, and Arajet canceled scheduled flights to and from New York, Boston, Orlando, and Newark because of adverse weather conditions affecting those destinations.

Airport authorities urged passengers to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight updates before traveling and emphasized that operational safety remains the top priority during severe weather events.
