Marileidy Paulino exhibition highlights Olympic champion’s remarkable journey

Santo Domingo.- Olympic champion Marileidy Paulino visited the photo exhibition “Marileidy: Images of a Champion,” a tribute to her athletic career sponsored by Banco Popular Dominicano and on display at Galería 360 through August 31.

The exhibition features 39 photographs by María Elena Moré, taken between 2021 and 2026, capturing key moments from Paulino’s training, competitions, and personal journey. During the event, the sprinter and the photographer also signed 200 copies of the book Marileidy Paulino: Road to the Olympic Dream, published by Banco Popular in 2025.

The visit comes as the Dominican star continues a dominant 2026 season in the Diamond League, highlighted by victories in Monaco and London that extended her winning streak in the 400 meters and reinforced her status among the world’s top sprinters.

Banco Popular has supported Paulino as a brand ambassador since 2022, backing initiatives that promote her athletic career, including the 2025 documentary Golden Dreams, which chronicles her rise from Nizao to Olympic champion and has been featured at several international film festivals.
