Puerto Plata Airport wins fourth ASQ Award for passenger service
Santo Domingo.- Gregorio Luperón International Airport in Puerto Plata has been recognized for the fourth time with the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award, earning a spot among the Best Airports by Size (Departures) serving up to two million passengers annually in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The award was officially presented by VINCI Airports CEO Rémi Maumon de Longevialle to Minister of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza during a ceremony attended by representatives of the Airports Council International for Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) and French Ambassador Sonia Barbry.
The distinction is based exclusively on independent passenger surveys conducted through Airports Council International’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program, one of the aviation industry’s leading benchmarks for customer experience.
VINCI Airports said the recognition reflects the continued efforts of Aerodom, Dominican authorities, and the airport community to provide a high-quality travel experience while supporting the country’s tourism and aviation sectors.
