Arajet suspends Mendoza-Punta Cana route until October

Arajet will temporarily suspend its direct route between Mendoza, Argentina, and Punta Cana from August 9 through October 4, 2026, as part of operational adjustments aimed at strengthening its presence in the Argentine market.

The Dominican airline, which launched service to Mendoza in May, said flights will resume on October 4 with three weekly frequencies on Sundays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Once operations restart, travelers from Mendoza will again be able to connect through Punta Cana to destinations including Cancún, Chicago, Guatemala City, Kingston, Miami, Mexico City, Orlando and San Juan.

Arajet said passengers holding reservations for travel between August 9 and October 4 will be contacted directly and offered available travel alternatives and assistance.
