Tragedy Accident between a bus “full of people” and a garbage truck leaves a fatal outcome in Punta Cana
A traffic accident between a garbage truck and a bus on Friday night left one person dead and two injured in Verón, Punta Cana.
The Verón-Punta Cana Fire Department confirmed the information to the newspaper HOY and identified the deceased as Wilmer Dionel Martínez Sosa, the driver, who was trapped under the truck.

Sosa was taken to a medical center, where he received medical attention, but later died.

The garbage truck was the vehicle that ended up overturned after the accident.
Traffic accident
The second vehicle involved was an 80-passenger bus that, according to the report, was “full of passengers” at the time of the accident. Two people were injured.
Among the injured is the bus driver, who was treated and transported by a medical unit before the firefighters arrived at the scene.
