Dominican Republic’s new eTicket system surpasses 67,000 users
Santo Domingo.- More than 67,000 travelers have already used the Dominican Republic’s new eTicket system, according to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM).
Since the digital platform was launched, the DGM has recorded 67,881 eTickets issued, along with 50,301 user accounts and 32,377 companion profiles for family members and others who frequently travel together.
DGM Director General Lee Ballester said the rapid adoption of the platform demonstrates the value of technology in making immigration procedures more agile, simple and efficient.
The new system is designed to facilitate travelers’ entry and exit processes while providing digital tools that simplify procedures for users.
