Banco BHD announces fourth New York City Real Estate Fair for Dominican diaspora
Banco BHD announced the fourth edition of the New York City Real Estate Fair, an initiative it sponsors, which will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at The Armory Arena, 216 Fort Washington Avenue, New York, with the participation of more than 25 renowned construction and real estate companies from the Dominican Republic.
Over three days, Dominicans living in the United States will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of real estate projects located in different areas of the Dominican Republic, including housing options at various stages of development.
The fair aims to connect the Dominican diaspora with opportunities to purchase property in the Dominican Republic while providing guidance, education and financial support to those considering such a decision.
As part of its participation, Banco BHD will offer personalized financial advice and financial education. Bank specialists will guide attendees on available property-purchasing options, factors to consider before taking on a financial commitment, and how to prepare if they choose to obtain financing in the Dominican Republic.
The initiative seeks not only to introduce attendees to real estate projects but also to help them better understand the purchasing process and make informed decisions about which option best fits their goals.
“The New York City Real Estate Fair sponsored by Banco BHD has become a meeting point between Dominicans living in the United States and the Dominican Republic’s real estate sector. We want people to have the opportunity to speak with our specialists, clarify their questions and understand which decision best fits their financial situation and stage of life. Our commitment is to support them before, during and after such an important decision as purchasing property,” said Freddy Simó, Banco BHD’s Vice President of Specialized Sales.
The bank has experience providing financial advice to Dominicans living abroad. It has previously sponsored real estate initiatives at fairs held in Madrid, Spain, and Zurich, Switzerland.
