911 and COE strengthen coordination to improve emergency response

Santo Domingo.- The executive director of the National Emergency and Security System 911, Colonel Randolfo Rijo Gómez, ERD, received the new director of the Emergency Operations Center (COE), Colonel Erdwin Robert Olivares Luciano, during a working meeting held Tuesday at the 911 facilities.

The officials discussed issues of mutual interest and reviewed strategies to strengthen operational coordination between the two institutions, with the goal of improving the country’s response to emergencies and disasters.

Both reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close collaboration and carrying out joint initiatives to provide a faster and more effective response to the public.

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination among the agencies responsible for emergency management in the Dominican Republic and ensure a comprehensive response to citizens’ needs.
