Collado highlights that Punta Bergantín sells US$30 million in a single weekend

Tourism Minister David Collado reported that the Punta Bergantín real estate and hotel project in Puerto Plata sold nearly $30 million worth of units in a single weekend.

These results highlighted the collaborators’ work, with Andrés Marranzini leading the project.

He indicated that the new tourism real estate venture will position the province as one of the most important destinations not only in the Dominican Republic but also in the Caribbean.

“The Meliá and Hyatt hotel chains will be the first to invest in this real estate project, contributing more than a thousand rooms, generating jobs and a great deal of commercial activity,” he added.

Collado also specified that Punta Bergantín will be a large complex featuring multiple high-end hotels, focused on sustainability and integration with Puerto Plata’s natural environment.
