Dominican Republic heads to Argentina as Guest of Honor at FIT Latin America 2026

Collado announced through Instagram that the Dominican delegation is heading to Argentina, where the country will serve as Guest of Honor at the 30th edition of FIT, taking place September 26–29 at La Rural.

The Dominican Republic will have a 400-square-meter pavilion in the international sector, showcasing its beaches, gastronomy, music, crafts, culture and other tourism experiences.

More than 35 private-sector exhibitors, including hotels and tourism experience companies, will participate in the delegation. The agenda will focus on business opportunities, destination promotion and strengthening air connectivity.

FIT 2026 will feature more than 20,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event will be open to the public on September 26 and 27, while September 28 and 29 will be reserved for tourism professionals.

The Dominican Republic’s participation is part of the Ministry of Tourism’s broader international promotion strategy to position the country’s tourism offering among Latin American travel professionals and companies.
