The Dominican Republic will host the World Governments Summit Latin America and the Caribbean 2026 Regional Dialogue on November 20 and 21 in Cap Cana, bringing together government leaders, business representatives, investors, international organizations, and experts from across the region.
Held under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of President Luis Abinader, the event will focus on preparing governments for future challenges and strengthening regional cooperation.
The meeting is part of the strategic partnership between the Dominican Republic and the United Arab Emirates and will expand the World Governments Summit’s presence in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Discussions will address governance, economic development, innovation, investment, and international cooperation, while providing opportunities to exchange experiences and best practices and strengthen connections between Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
The event is also expected to reinforce the Dominican Republic’s role as a platform for regional dialogue, investment, and international cooperation.
