Two Punta Cana resorts named among Caribbean’s 10 Best by Condé Nast Traveler
Two resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, have been named among the 40 best resorts in the Caribbean in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.
Eden Roc Cap Cana ranked No. 6 with a score of 99.07, while Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana placed No. 7 with 96.59, giving the Dominican Republic two resorts in the Caribbean’s top 10.
Eden Roc Cap Cana, a Readers’ Choice Award winner since 2021, is the only Relais & Châteaux property on the list. The luxury resort features 67 accommodations, including beach suites, private villas and four oceanfront accommodations.
The property offers four dining venues and the Eden Roc Spa by Natura Bissé, which was named the Dominican Republic’s Best Resort Spa 2026 at the World Spa Awards. Families can also enjoy facilities such as the Koko Kid’s Club.
Meanwhile, Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana, an adults-only, all-inclusive beachfront resort, made the Readers’ Choice list for the first time. It has 51 rooms and villas surrounding two swimming pools, located about a one-minute walk from the beach.
The resort’s restaurants combine traditional Dominican cuisine with international flavors, with an emphasis on organic and locally sourced ingredients.
The 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards were based on 798,867 votes cast in the publication’s 39th annual survey, highlighting the continued appeal of Punta Cana as a Caribbean luxury and leisure destination.
