Breeze Airways announces new nonstop flights from Tampa to Santo Domingo
Breeze Airways will launch nonstop flights between Tampa and Santo Domingo in June 2027, adding a new year-round air service between Florida and the Dominican Republic.
The new Tampa-Santo Domingo route will begin operating on June 18, 2027, with two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Las Américas International Airport (AILA). The airline will operate the service with Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Flights will depart Tampa at 10:30 a.m. and arrive in Santo Domingo at 1:25 p.m. Return flights will leave Santo Domingo at 2:25 p.m. and arrive in Tampa at 5:30 p.m. All times are local.
According to Tampa International Airport, Breeze’s new service will mark the first year-round airline service between Tampa and Santo Domingo. Santo Domingo will become Breeze’s sixth international destination from Tampa and its second destination in the Dominican Republic, after Punta Cana.
The new route will increase competition in the Tampa-Santo Domingo market. Frontier Airlines is scheduled to launch its own nonstop service between the two cities on December 17, 2026.
