Netherlands’ new ambassador to Dominican Republic presents credentials

Santo Domingo.- Foreign Minister Víctor “Ito” Bisonó received Monday copies of the Letters of Credence from Hélène Rekkers, the newly appointed ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Dominican Republic.

Rekkers joined the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1996 and has three decades of diplomatic experience. Before her appointment to the Dominican Republic, she served as consul general in Cape Town, South Africa.
