CAYE Festival: These streets will be closed in Santo Domingo’s Colonial City

Santo Domingo.- The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (INTRANT) announced temporary street closures in Santo Domingo’s Colonial City due to the CAYE Festival. The traffic restrictions will begin at midnight on Friday, November 6, and remain in effect until noon on Monday, November 9, according to the agency.

The closures are intended to facilitate the festival’s activities. INTRANT urged drivers to plan their trips and use alternate routes to avoid delays. The affected streets are Estrelleta, Pina, Beller, Archbishop Portes, and José Gabriel García.

Drivers traveling through the Colonial City are advised to take the restrictions into account throughout the weekend, with normal access expected to resume after noon on Monday.
