Claro reports nationwide outage affecting internet and mobile services

Santo Domingo.- Telecommunications company Claro reported a partial nationwide outage this Friday affecting both fixed and mobile internet services.

The company said some customers are experiencing disruptions to connectivity, with users reporting outages on social media since early morning. The issues have affected internet access and, in some cases, mobile services and voice calls.

Claro said its technical team is working to restore service as quickly as possible and explained that connectivity is being recovered gradually.

The company apologized for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their understanding while repair work continues.
