A rainy weekend: Will you be able to leave the house? Here’s the weather forecast.
The combination of a trough with tropical wave number 32 will maintain a rainy weather outlook in the Dominican Republic this weekend: gusts of wind, electrical discharges, and some hail could also develop.
This was announced on Friday by meteorological analyst Jean Suriel.
“In the last few hours, the Saharan particles have begun to move away from African cloud number 13: in the next few hours a trough will influence the situation, along with humid winds and hot temperatures coming from the marine region,” he specified.
He also indicated that some gusty winds with moderate rainfall are possible this afternoon in the south, southeast, northeast, Central Mountain Range, north, and northwest. Some showers will continue into the night.

By Saturday, the Saharan dust will be gone, which will help reduce respiratory allergies: in the afternoon, downpours with gusts of wind will increase due to the impact of the tropical wave.
“On Sunday, weather conditions will remain favorable for moderate to heavy rainfall: in the afternoon, electrical discharges and possible hailstorms will occur due to the effects of the trough and the wave,” he added.
For Monday, he assured that cloud cover and some rain are expected to continue in the morning: after midday, the strongest downpours will be activated by solar radiation and warm sea winds.
