Abinader meets EIB president Nadia Calviño to strengthen investment in Dominican Republic

Madrid.- President Luis Abinader held a bilateral meeting with European Investment Bank (EIB) President Nadia Calviño during the XXX Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government.

The meeting focused on strengthening investment and development opportunities in the Dominican Republic. The EIB has a presence in the country and operates its Caribbean regional office in Santo Domingo.

The bank supports projects in the Dominican Republic involving climate action and energy, transportation infrastructure, and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, among other areas.
