Abinader named keynote speaker at World Free Zones Congress in Panama

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader will travel to Panama this Tuesday to participate in the World Free Zones Congress, where he will deliver the keynote address and showcase the Dominican Republic as a leading destination for investment in free zones, logistics, and manufacturing.

During the event, President Abinader will meet with international executives and members of Panama’s business community to encourage new investments in the Dominican Republic’s specialized free trade zone sectors. The meetings are part of the government’s strategy to attract foreign direct investment and strengthen the country’s position as one of Latin America’s fastest-growing economies.

The president will also hold a bilateral meeting with Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino. Accompanying Abinader are Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, Biviana Riveiro, and Ambassador Roberto Salcedo. The World Free Zones Congress will take place on May 12 and 13.
