Abinader to meet Guyanese president during official visit to Guyana
Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader will travel to Guyana this Wednesday evening for an official visit that includes a bilateral meeting and the signing of cooperation agreements with President Mohamed Irfaan Ali.
Upon arriving in Georgetown, Abinader will be welcomed with military honors before attending an official reception at Government House. On Thursday, the two leaders will hold talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation between the Dominican Republic and Guyana.
Abinader arrives from Panama, where he delivered the keynote address at the World Free Zones Congress and promoted investment opportunities in technology and manufacturing. He is accompanied by Minister Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, Biviana Riveiro, and Ambassador Ernesto Torres Pereyra. The president is scheduled to return to the Dominican Republic on Thursday.
