Air France extends Dominican Republic agreement through May 2027

Paris.- The agreement was signed during IFTM Top Resa 2026 by Tourism Minister David Collado and Air France Commercial Director Frédéric Descours. The original agreement enabled the airline to resume flights to the Dominican Republic in 2025 after several years of absence.

Collado highlighted Air France’s role in bringing French tourists to the country while also connecting the Dominican Republic with travelers from other European markets through the airline’s Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.

Air France operates seasonal flights between Punta Cana and Paris, with three weekly services. The route is served by a Boeing 777-300 with capacity for 442 passengers across business, premium and economy classes.

Through its Paris hub, the service provides access to more than 200 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, strengthening the Dominican Republic’s air connectivity with international markets.
