Air France extends Paris-Punta Cana flights through May 2027

Air France will extend its direct service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Punta Cana through May 1, 2027, adding more than a month to an operation initially planned only for the winter season.

The French airline will operate three weekly flights from November 30, 2026, through May 1, 2027, using Boeing 777-200 aircraft, according to its official schedule.

The extension strengthens air connectivity between France and the Dominican Republic during a period that includes the spring school holidays in France, while also creating additional opportunities to attract travelers from other European markets.

Air France previously suspended the route in 2023 before announcing its return for the 2025-2026 winter season with three weekly flights between Paris and Punta Cana.

The decision to maintain the service into the spring is particularly relevant for Dominican tourism as the country seeks to strengthen the French market, one of its traditional European source markets.

The direct connection to Charles de Gaulle also gives Punta Cana access to Air France’s broader European network, potentially facilitating travel from other countries across the continent.

For the Dominican tourism industry, the extended service provides a longer window to promote Punta Cana during the European spring and showcase attractions beyond its traditional beach offering, including nature, culture, gastronomy, heritage and adventure.
