Arajet and Centro León extend alliance to showcase Dominican art internationally
Santo Domingo.- The Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation, Centro León and Arajet have renewed their partnership to expand the international promotion of Dominican art and culture while supporting educational initiatives in the visual arts.
The agreement extends a collaboration launched in August 2024 and will focus on developing cultural exchanges, exhibitions, academic programs and international outreach that showcase Dominican and Caribbean creative talent.
Since the partnership began, the organizations have supported projects in destinations including Ecuador, Guatemala, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Colombia and the United States, contributing to initiatives such as Curando Caribe and the Eduardo León Jimenes Art Competition.
Under the renewed agreement, Arajet passengers will have greater opportunities to engage with Dominican culture through curated experiences, while the airline will continue supporting Centro León’s exhibitions, cultural activities and international exchange programs.
The renewal was signed by Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet; María Amalia León, president of the Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation; and María Luisa Asilis, executive director of Centro León.
