Arajet expands in Argentina with new Mendoza–Punta Cana route

Argentina.- Arajet has launched a new direct route connecting Mendoza and Punta Cana, further expanding its presence in Argentina and strengthening air connectivity between South America and the Caribbean.

The new service will operate three times per week, giving travelers from Mendoza nonstop access to Punta Cana and onward connections to destinations across the Americas, including Cancún, Miami, Orlando, Chicago, Lima, Mexico City, Kingston, and San Juan. Mendoza becomes Arajet’s third destination in Argentina, joining Buenos Aires and Córdoba.

During the inaugural ceremony at El Plumerillo International Airport, airline and tourism officials highlighted the route’s potential to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between Argentina and the Dominican Republic. Arajet said the launch reinforces Punta Cana’s role as a strategic hub for regional travel and supports the airline’s continued expansion across the Americas.
