Asonahores announces 2026 Tourism Trade Show in Punta Cana

The Dominican Republic Hotel and Tourism Association (Asonahores) has announced that its 38th Trade Show 2026 will take place September 2–4 at BlueMall Punta Cana, bringing together more than 300 exhibitors from the Dominican Republic and abroad.

The country’s leading tourism business event will showcase companies in sectors including food and beverages, technology, financial services, furniture, kitchen equipment, and energy solutions, highlighting the broad economic impact of the tourism industry.

Asonahores President Juan Bancalari said the trade show serves as a key platform connecting businesses, entrepreneurs, producers, and suppliers with one of the Dominican Republic’s fastest-growing industries, while promoting innovation and economic development.

Organizers reported that more than 70% of exhibition space has already been reserved, reflecting strong interest from the private sector.

The event will also feature the traditional UNABAR Cup, the National Barista Competition, a renovated business lounge for high-level meetings, and enhanced digital coverage to increase exhibitor visibility. Sustainability initiatives, including digital event materials to reduce paper use, and the continued participation of Dominican artisans will also remain central to the exhibition.

The 2026 Trade Show is supported by the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur) and major sponsors including Banco BHD, Banco Popular Dominicano, Banreservas, CEPM, and other leading companies.
