Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader’s administration closes its sixth year in office with a 55.5% approval rating among Dominicans who expressed a defined opinion, according to the latest measurement by AtlasIntel.

The poll places overall approval at 52.1% when undecided respondents are included. Among those with a defined position, approval rises to 55.5%, indicating that more than half of respondents who expressed an opinion approve of the president’s administration.

AtlasIntel, an international polling firm known for its electoral surveys, published the Dominican Republic results through its social media accounts.

The firm received an A+ rating from Nate Silver’s Silver Bulletin in 2025 and ranked first in its assessment of polling quality in the United States. AtlasIntel has also highlighted its performance in several recent elections, including Argentina’s 2023 presidential race and Colombia’s 2026 elections.

According to the company, its latest Dominican Republic figures show that Abinader enters the second year of his second constitutional term with majority support among voters who have a defined opinion of his administration.
