Carl’s Jr. opens first location in the Dominican Republic at Galería 360

Santo Domingo.- American grilled burger chain Carl’s Jr. has officially opened its first location in the Dominican Republic, bringing its international restaurant concept to the country with a location at Galería 360 shopping center in Santo Domingo.

The restaurant operates under the brand’s international “In-Line” concept, designed to integrate into modern, functional shopping centers while maintaining Carl’s Jr.’s visual identity. The design features a contemporary look, efficient service areas, and spaces focused on customer comfort.

During a presentation at the new restaurant, Mónica Cabrera Pérez, CEO for Mexico and the Dominican Republic of DATH, the company operating the franchise locally, said the brand arrived in the country committed to maintaining Carl’s Jr.’s international standards.

“We’ve come here committed to offering an excellent experience, meeting Carl’s Jr.’s international standards, based on the quality of our products, friendly service, and an atmosphere designed for the enjoyment of our guests,” Cabrera Pérez said.

DATH expands Carl’s Jr. into the Dominican market

DATH, a Mexican company and the third-largest Carl’s Jr. franchisee in Mexico, holds the exclusive rights to operate the brand in the Dominican Republic. The company operates more than 450 Carl’s Jr. restaurants in Mexico, where the chain has established a strong presence.

The Dominican launch marks the brand’s expansion into a new Caribbean market, with the Galería 360 location serving as its first restaurant in the country.

The official grand opening took place on September 10.
