Dominican Republic highlights tourism potential at WTM London 2026

London.- The Dominican Republic showcased its tourism and investment opportunities at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, with participation from the Ministry of Tourism, the Dominican Embassy in the United Kingdom and the British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (Britchamdr).

The event, held November 3–5 at ExCeL London, coincided with the 12th edition of Dominican Week in the United Kingdom, bringing together tourism promotion, business meetings and institutional activities aimed at strengthening ties between the two markets.

Tourism Minister David Collado thanked Britchamdr and the Dominican Embassy for their support in promoting the country and strengthening bilateral relations, including through the annual Dominican Week initiative.

Britchamdr President Ryan Polanco said the Dominican presence at WTM is key to strengthening the country’s position in the British and European markets and highlighting its potential as a tourism and investment destination.

He added that the simultaneous celebration of WTM and Dominican Week provides an opportunity to connect tourism promotion with business, investment and diplomatic initiatives, while creating new opportunities for economic cooperation between the Dominican Republic and the United Kingdom.
