Dominican Republic launches Caribbean’s first AI travel planning platform

Miami.- The Dominican Republic has unveiled a new artificial intelligence platform in Miami that allows travelers to plan personalized vacations based on their interests, preferences, and budget. The innovative tool offers tailored recommendations for hotels, restaurants, beaches, excursions, nightlife, and activities across the country’s top tourist destinations.

The AI-powered travel assistant includes destinations such as Punta Cana, Samaná, Puerto Plata, La Romana, Santo Domingo, Miches, and Cabarete. With this launch, the Dominican Republic becomes the first Caribbean destination to implement an AI platform focused exclusively on customizing and simplifying trip planning.

Tourism Minister David Collado said the initiative is part of the country’s tourism innovation strategy and aims to place visitors at the center of the travel experience through smart technology. The platform is designed to make vacation planning faster, easier, and more interactive for travelers considering the Dominican Republic.
