Stations of the Cross in Your Favorite Parish

Every Friday until March 28, at 6:00 pm, a Via Crucis lasting approximately one hour will be conducted. This revered devotion allows participants to retrace the various moments experienced by Jesus of Nazareth, from his arrest to his crucifixion, burial, and subsequent resurrection.

Enjoy a Religious Musical

On Friday, March 22, at 8:00 pm, Regina Angelorum Church will present “The 7 Words” musical, free of charge. This production narrates the testimonies of individuals who shared close ties with Jesus Christ, reminiscing on how his life touched theirs through songs echoing the seven phrases uttered by our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross.

Palm Sunday, March 24

Witness the recreation of Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem. At 10:00 am on Sunday, Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes Sanctuary will host the blessing of Palms and the Borrico reenactment. This event, symbolized by blessed palms, commemorates the palms and olive branches laid by Jerusalem residents before Jesus, hailing him as King and the one who comes in the name of the Lord.

Indulge in a Tasting of Sweet Beans. At the Mercado de Cuaresma in Billini Park, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, you can savor various types of sweet beans—each unique in flavor and crafted according to traditional recipes.

Holy Monday, March 25

From 5:00 pm, Regina Angelorum church will lead the Catholic Via Crucis of Holy Week, preceded by a mass and then a rosary. Following this, at 7:00 pm, you can participate in the procession of Christ tied to the column and the Macarena—a poignant scene in Christian art within the Passion cycle.

Holy Tuesday, March 26

Join the procession of Jesus Most Patient at 6:00 pm at the Cathedral of Santa Bárbara, enveloping the Colonial Zone in a profound sense of love, devotion, and Jesus’ passion.

Holy Wednesday, March 27

Participate in the procession of Jesus Nazarene at 5:00 pm after mass at Nuestra Señora del Carmen church, witnessing the penitential season during Spanish Holy Week.
