Dominicans take Caribbean Series debut with effective pitching, clutch batting

Panama.-  Dominican Republic’s Estrellas of San Pedro team played against Puerto Rico’s Cangrejeros de Santurce in the Caribbean Baseball Series opener, with a 3 to 1 victory.

Four green pitchers allowed just one hit while the Dominican artillery slammed 12 hits, leaving 11 runners on base.
