Sexual stimulants will require a prescription

Santo Domingo.- Public Health minister Altagracia Guzmn on Friday announced that sexual stimulants, energy drinks and other health products will now require a doctor’s prescription.

She said the measure is in response to concern about the “irrational consumption of these products and their harmful impact on people.”

The official said the sale of those drugs need to be regulated and pharmacies cannot sell them without a prescription. “The irrational use of the sexual enhancers are consumed even by young people who seek to maximize the duration of the sexual act is highly dangerous.”
