Edenorte will suspend electrical service this Saturday in large sectors of Puerto Plata

Puerto Plata. The Northern Electricity Distribution Company (Edenorte) reported that this Saturday, July 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., it will carry out scheduled maintenance work that will require the temporary suspension of electrical service in several circuits in the province of Puerto Plata.

The work will be carried out on circuits PPLA105, TUBA501, YASI701, PPLA102, PPLA101 and PPTA103, affecting dozens of residential, commercial, tourist and institutional sectors.

Among the areas that will be without power are El Arenazo, Ensanche Luperón, Bayardo, Padre Granero, Bello Costero, Torre Alta, Long Beach, Marapicá, Urbanización Atlántica, Jardines del Atlántico, Costa Atlántica, Malecón, Provincial Government, Palace of Justice, Puerto Plata Headquarters, Tubagua, Gran Parada, Pueblo de Yásica, La Cruz de Yásica, La Unión, Northern Air Command FARD, Puerto Chiquito, Cangrejo, Villa Progreso, Cristo Rey, Los Sufridos, El Teleférico, UTESA, Barrio Haití, Las Mercedes, El Clinker, Conani, El Hoyo de Chavón and Aguas Negras, among others.

Edenorte urged customers located in these areas to take the necessary precautions during the interruption period and reminded them that schedules may vary depending on the progress of the work.

The distributor indicated that these tasks are part of its program to maintain and strengthen the electrical grid, with the aim of improving the quality and stability of the service in the province.
