Gasoline and Regular Diesel prices increase for August 15–21

Premium gasoline, premium diesel, LPG, and natural gas prices remain unchanged.

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) announced Friday afternoon that gasoline and regular diesel prices will increase by RD$3 per gallon for the week of August 15–21.

With the increase, regular gasoline will be sold at RD$307.50 per gallon, while regular diesel will cost RD$259.80 per gallon.

In a press release, the ministry said that despite the increase, prices remain below the levels established on June 13, when the government announced a 90-day price freeze as part of its Anti-Crisis Plan.
