Hodelpa Hospitality and the Dominican Association of Tourism Journalists (Adompretur) reaffirmed their partnership during an event that brought together tourism industry leaders, journalists, and media professionals to strengthen collaboration and promote innovation in tourism communication.

The gathering included executives from Hodelpa Hospitality, members of Adompretur’s national board and Santiago chapter, and representatives of the media.

Jessica Aja, executive vice president of Hodelpa Hospitality, said the company remains committed to strategic partnerships that contribute to the growth of the Dominican tourism industry.

“Tourism development is built through collaboration. We are proud to strengthen our relationship with Adompretur, an organization that has promoted Dominican tourism through responsible journalism for decades,” Aja said.

Adompretur President Sarah Hernández described the alliance as an opportunity to continue advancing initiatives that strengthen tourism journalism and communication across the country. Junior McDougal, secretary general of Adompretur’s Santiago chapter, also participated in the agreement.

The event also featured the conference “Artificial Intelligence Applied to Journalism: New Tools to Tell Better Stories,” led by María del Mar García, co-founder of Equality AI. The session explored practical AI tools and best practices to help journalists enhance storytelling and newsroom workflows.

Hodelpa Hospitality said the initiative reflects its commitment to fostering learning, collaboration, and innovation in support of the continued development of the Dominican Republic’s tourism sector.
