I LOVE DR: Dominican premium spirits launch at Las Américas Airport

Santo Domingo.- I LOVE DR, a new collection of premium Dominican spirits inspired by the country’s flavors and cultural identity, has launched at Las Américas International Airport (AILA) and joined the Avolta and Dufry Dominicana Travel Retail network.

Developed and produced by Dominican company Ziantix Group, the collection features four varieties: Peanut, Coconut, Cherry and Mango. The Peanut variety is presented by the company as the world’s first blue peanut liqueur.

The launch took place at AILA as part of the Dominican Restoration Day celebrations under the theme “I LOVE DR celebrates Dominican identity with you.” The event featured traditional music, folklore and tastings of the four spirits.

I LOVE DR expands into Travel Retail

Ziantix Group is responsible for developing and producing the collection, while Avolta, through its Dominican operation and subsidiary Dufry Dominicana, will handle its exclusive distribution and marketing in the country’s Travel Retail channel.

The products will be available at Avolta and Dufry stores located at airports and ports across the Dominican Republic, giving international travelers the opportunity to purchase a locally produced product inspired by Dominican culture.

Julio Astacio, CEO of Ziantix Group, said the collection was created to allow Dominican culture to reach consumers beyond the country.

“I LOVE DR was born so that Dominican culture can travel,” Astacio said, describing the collection as a representation of Dominican flavors, culture and national identity.
