JAC and VFS Global discuss improving visa services and traveler experience

Santo Domingo.- The president of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), Julio Peña Guzmán, met with executives of VFS Global to discuss international mobility, visa-related services, and their impact on the traveler experience in the Dominican Republic.

During the meeting at the JAC headquarters, Peña Guzmán exchanged views with VFS Global representatives Manuel Peinado, Luis Baquero, and Jaime Vega on opportunities for institutional collaboration and the role of efficient visa services in facilitating international travel.

The JAC president emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue with companies whose specialized services contribute to international mobility and the passenger experience. He also described the meeting as an opportunity to learn more about VFS Global’s operations and identify areas of cooperation.

VFS Global provides administrative, non-decision-making services for governments and diplomatic missions, including the processing of visa applications, passports and other travel documents, as well as the collection of documentation and biometric data and support for applicants.

The meeting forms part of the JAC’s broader agenda to promote a more efficient, modern and passenger-centered civil aviation system.
