Julio Espínola and Eduardo Lomba win top honors at Adoexpo Golf Tournament
Punta Cana.- Julio Espínola and Eduardo Lomba captured the top gross overall honors at the 21st edition of the Dominican Association of Exporters (Adoexpo) Golf Tournament, held at Corales Golf Course with 108 players representing the country’s export sector.
The annual event brought together business leaders, executives and company representatives for a day of competition and networking. Adoexpo president Karel Castillo highlighted the tournament’s role in strengthening relationships within the exporting community, while Vice Minister of Foreign Trade Daniel Peña delivered the honorary opening tee shot.
The two-player scramble competition was divided into three categories. Nicolás Quintero and José Said Mella won Category A; Joaquín Montero and Ygnacio Pérez topped Category B; and Wilson Ramírez and Edwin Ramírez claimed first place in Category C.
Beyond golf, the event featured a welcome cocktail, a hospitality area with virtual reality experiences and the third edition of Shotgun Mujeres, an initiative highlighting women exporters and women-led brands.
Adoexpo said the tournament continues to serve as one of its leading business gatherings, combining sports, networking and activities designed to strengthen connections among companies in the Dominican export sector.
