Luis Abinader arrives in Panama to promote investment at World Free Zones Congress

Panama.- President Luis Abinader arrived in Panama to participate in the World Free Zones Congress, where he will deliver the keynote address at the opening ceremony and lead a series of strategic meetings aimed at attracting new investment to the Dominican Republic, particularly in logistics, manufacturing, and specialized free zones.
During his visit, Abinader is scheduled to meet with Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino and World Free Zones Organization President Mohammed Al Zarooni. The two presidents will discuss opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand economic and trade ties between their countries.
The Dominican leader will also hold meetings with executives from DP World, Panamanian Minister of Industry and Commerce Julio Moltó, and International Free Zones Authority President Martín Pedersen. The agenda includes the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the World Free Zones Organization to strengthen cooperation and share best practices in free zone development. Abinader is accompanied by Minister Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, Biviana Riveiro, and Ambassador Roberto Salcedo.
