Man killed for 50 pesos in Santiago
Santiago — The National Police reported yesterday that they are maintaining a search operation to capture a man identified as Alexander Torres Lara (Ezequiel) and/or El Sade, identified as the alleged perpetrator of the death of Domingo Andrés Acevedo Peña (El Rubito), in an incident that occurred on Thursday night in the La Yagüita sector of Pastor, Santiago.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident occurred after an argument over 50 pesos that originated during a dice game.
It was reported that El Rubito told El Sade to match his bet with 50 pesos, because they were playing for 500 and he didn’t have any more because he was losing. El Sade allegedly refused, and the argument escalated into a knife fight.
After the incident, the alleged assailant left the scene and has since been sought by members of the National Police, who are carrying out intelligence work and operations in different sectors to find his whereabouts.
