Man pursued by the National Police kills two people and wounds another at a fried chicken restaurant in Sabana Perdida

A man who was being pursued by police officers killed two people and injured another in an incident that occurred at a food business (fried chicken) in Sabana Perdida, Santo Domingo Norte.

According to National Police spokesman Diego Pesqueira, the man was wanted by the National Police for alleged involvement in homicides in San Pedro de Macorís, and he locked himself inside a food store in the Lotes y Servicios sector. 

Authorities are keeping the suspect under arrest while they continue their investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident.
