Mirex reports no Dominicans affected by Colombia earthquake

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex) reported that, according to the latest official information, no Dominicans have been identified among those affected by Monday’s earthquake in Colombia.

The Dominican Embassy and Consulate General in Bogotá remain in contact with Colombian authorities to monitor the situation, update information, and provide assistance to any Dominican citizen who may need it.

Mirex’s Directorate of Protection of Nationals Abroad also has direct assistance channels available from Santo Domingo at (809) 987-7001, extensions 7595, 7597 and 7100, and through [email protected].

Dominicans in Colombia who need to report an emergency or request guidance can also contact the Dominican diplomatic missions in the country through their designated emergency channels.
