MITUR and Arajet showcase Dominican Republic tourism at Miami Marlins game
Miami, FL- The Dominican Republic boosted its tourism promotion efforts in the United States through a joint activation by the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) and Arajet at LoanDepot Park in Miami during a Major League Baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the Miami Marlins. The event featured Dominican baseball legend Juan Marichal as guest of honor and showcased the country’s leading tourist destinations to thousands of fans.
Visitors participated in interactive experiences, contests, and giveaways, including airline tickets and complimentary hotel stays, while learning about the Dominican Republic’s beaches, culture, gastronomy, and travel offerings. MITUR and Arajet also hosted travel agents, tour operators, media representatives, influencers, and tourism industry leaders at an exclusive event highlighting the country’s diverse attractions and growing air connectivity with the United States.
The activation marked the second collaboration between MITUR, Arajet, and the Miami Marlins, reinforcing efforts to position the Dominican Republic as a top Caribbean destination in the U.S. market.
