Police kill four men, two of them linked to the Diddy Glow case

The National Police reported that Wender Alcántara “El Compa”, Deivi Rosado Durán “El Gordo”, Jordin Antonio Ogando “Jordin” and Dilson Humberto Reynoso Cruz “Mandrake” died in separate operations.

The first two were linked to the shooting attack on September 12 in Los Coquitos, Boca Chica, which left two dead and five wounded.

The other two were wanted for assaults, kidnappings and other violent acts, including a homicide that occurred in Santiago.

National Police spokesman Diego Pesqueira reported that the first case was registered in the early hours of Thursday, when Wender Alcántara lost his life in a confrontation on José Francisco Peña Gómez street, in the Andrés sector, Boca Chica, when he confronted PN agents.

He indicated that Alcántara was allegedly found in possession of a Glock 43 pistol, with a drum-type magazine, without documentation to carry it.

Following up on the Boca Chica case, Pesquería also reported the death of Deivi Rosado Durán, nicknamed “El Gordo” or “El Fantasma.” He explained that Rosado Durán was allegedly accused of supplying firearms to the criminal gang they are dismantling.

On the other hand, there is the case of Jordin Antonio Ogando, who lost his life in an alleged exchange of gunfire with police officers on Doctor Betances Street, at the corner of 11th Street in the Villa María sector of the capital.

According to Pesqueira’s statements, Ogando kidnapped taxi drivers and then robbed them. During the operation, a firearm and several rounds of ammunition were seized from him.

Finally, Dilson Humberto Reynoso Cruz, alias “Mandrake”, also died, who was killed by PN agents after allegedly having an “extensive criminal record” that includes multiple deaths.
