President Abinader moves work agenda to Cibao region from September 14 to 16

President Luis Abinader will carry out his work agenda in the Cibao region from September 14 to 16, with activities scheduled in Espaillat, Santiago and Valverde.

The three-day tour includes the inauguration and supervision of road, educational, health, sanitation and airport projects, as well as meetings with municipal authorities and representatives of key productive sectors.

The agenda begins Monday in Moca, Espaillat, where Abinader will inaugurate the 5.8-kilometer Las Espinas highway and meet with mayors to review municipal development initiatives. He will later travel to Santiago for private meetings.

On Tuesday, September 15, the president will hold meetings in Santiago with representatives from the public and private sectors, business leaders, academics and social organizations.

On Wednesday, his agenda will include the inauguration of the El Guano school and an inspection of expansion works at Cibao International Airport.

Abinader will then travel to Licey al Medio to supervise construction of the sewage system and wastewater treatment plant. The tour will conclude in Mao, Valverde, where he will inspect sanitation projects and construction of the new Traumatology Hospital, in addition to meeting with local mayors.
